thanks! even funnier, i think, is that in 2014 software makers persist in using icons that are pictures of antique technology! its crazy right? and yet a 7 year old knows to click on the thing that looks like a floppy disk to save his work!

Lol! I just ‘cannibalized’ one of my older towers to snatch the floppy drive out. Seems like the new tech is mighty hasty, but I know I saw someplace selling them, so they aren’t as irrelevant as many would have us believe.I’ll be hanged before I’ll go out and actually BUY one for any reason later. I have lots of ‘floppy’ disks full of stuff like tax returns from WIN 95…be my luck the IRS would need them, or something. Yessirreee…keepin’ this here floppy drive, just in case.
