I thought it was a great idea, so I turned it into this – get ready to click, zoom, and use your horizontal scroll bar! When you’re done scrolling I want you to feel some of the exhaustion I feel teaching these little people!
It’s ridiculous! And the bleeding is usually smaller than a 1 mm papercut on a knuckle, with no actual bleeding, just a bit of redness. And they ALWAYS want a band-aid! Even for invisible cuts!
I’m totally laughing! A band-aid must always make things all better! I especially like cartoon ones..LOL Maybe you could keep a supply of invisible band-aids for those pesky invisible cuts?
Great stuff… the bleeding bit puzzled me for a while, but now I get it (from the comment above). It’s a tough job you’ve got! Thanks for sharing it in such a humorous way 🙂
OMG I’m crying now! So very funny and so very true!! I taught kindergarten for about 12 years and I think I’ve heard all of these (except maybe the chicken butt). I am honored that you turned my suggestion into one of your wonderful comics! Thanks for making my day 🙂

Oh, yes! It’s quite easy. To embed a video, just type [ youtube=(https link) ]. I had to put spaces in between the command and bracket to avoid activation. It’s a little parlor trick I picked up from reading the text version my blog. Also, italics in comments can be achieved with an prefix and a suffix.
OK! Now, it has got me bound and determined. It’s the less then and a greater than symbols. Ha, WordPress! Try using that for code! Can’t do it, can you? I win.

🙂 Yeah, I think I might have gone to a too extreme example considering the grade you teach.

The spaces on the italics didn’t work. So, might be a better display of coding.

Huh, that’s strange. That didn’t work either. Regardless, it’s an “em” with an “/em” termination command in between a pair of “”.
