My son uses it as a way to get out of trouble. Except he will actually FIND a teeny tiny piece of paper to throw in the trash… He will look everywhere possible to find a piece of something… I use to joke that he was my little vacuum cleaner. He would pick up everything the big one missed.

this very thing happens to me too – sometimes the trash is an impossibly small piece of crumpled up paper. Kids are mysterious!

Would you dare hold out your hand to offer to take it to the trash… obvious thing I would try first. Except I’d gross myself out thinking it could turn out to be a bogey or something… lol I need to tame this brain 😛

I usually make them go back to their seat and put it in their desk until recess. They hate that. Mister G strikes back!
