These are great. What do you use to color?

prismacolor premier pencils, sometimes crayola crayons, and a mix of archival permanent markers and a 2B pencil I keep handy. sometimes i use a paper blending stick, but even without it, the prismacolor have a great buttery consistency that gives them a watercolor luminosity when they overlap and blend, in my opinion. thanks for your curiosity!

I remember the first time I used a prismacolor pencil in middle school art class…. I remember thinking “how did they get such a crayon-like texture in the form of a pencil?”… and have been a huge fan ever since.

one more thing, lol, i also saturate the color after i scan them and bring them into the computer, and i take out the midrange grays to make the contrast more extreme, so that everything pops off a bright white background.

FYI when I pinned this I realised the pic is captioned 2nd grade whilst the title calls this 3rd grade maths. Either way, those kids are not too bad at adding halves together lol.
Tasty looking pizza too, making me feel hungry before lunchtime…
